The last thing you want to do is just rely on a contractor’s word that he’s fulfilling his day-to-day obligations to you. RDS believes that the best performance can be generated through tight control, backed up by rigorous project administration, accounting, and reporting systems. As your representative in the construction management process, RDS will visit the site at periodic intervals to provide you with an objective opinion as to actual progress against the Master Program Budget and Schedule. We will also accustom your contractors and subcontractors to attending regular meetings where their progress to date and their upcoming obligations will be minutely reviewed. This form of management will nip problems in the bud before they can get out of hand, and will clearly demonstrate to contractors and subcontractors alike that there is a firm hand at the helm. We have learned over the years that, where discipline and assigned responsibility are daily facts of life, motivation and performance tend to be enhanced. Good direction and clearly defined duties always get the most out of people. Backing up this approach with detailed reports concerning schedule, cash flow, change requests, information and actions required, and overall status of work, RDS provides you with all the tools needed to make sure that your work stays on schedule.
