Once you’ve got your plans and specs ready for bidding, we can lead you through the pitfalls and obstacles involved in helping you select the right general contractors who will be allowed to bid, and in ascertaining that bids submitted meet your full specifications. Because we’ve worked with scores of general contractors on the full gamut of commercial development projects, across virtually the entire East Coast, we know from the beginning who can be relied upon to get the job done for you, on-time and on-budget, without compromising your plans. RDS will assist you in pre-qualifying and recruiting general contract and major subcontract bidders and suppliers, allowing you to generate sufficient bids so that best “fit” and value for you will clearly emerge, either initially or after final negotiations. We will also oversee the release of construction documents prepared by the architects as required for bid and subsequent receipt of bids. It is our belief that it truly benefits our clients to have a qualified outside party such as RDS handling this process, as it assures objectivity in meeting your intent. Acting as a bridge between our clients and their suppliers, we are able to ascertain that the general contractors bidding fully understand exactly what is expected of them so that they can provide “good numbers” to be compared, one against the other.
