One of the questions potential clients often ask us is, How do I recognize when I need a consultant on my commercial real estate project? The answer we usually give is, When we can provide services that more than pay for themselves. The need becomes overwhelming when you require services that are not even covered by your current staff capabilities. Obviously, if we can assure you a better bottom line through enhanced development planning, construction management, and resolution of tenant issues, it makes sense to retain us within any one or all of these functions. It stands to reason, too, that our track record and expertise in all of these categories makes us more valuable in each one of them, as they are all deeply interrelated. There are recognizable corporate situations which should act as prompts for our hiring. Entrepreneurs and smaller development companies often outsource to us as a matter of course to limit their outlay and overhead, and to assure themselves the finest executive and management capabilities on an as-needed basis.
