This is the bridge between the development and construction processes when a design/build contractor is not involved. After your team has been assembled, and your development plan has been completed, after your approvals and permits have been secured, and your construction specs, plans, and schedule have been detailed, it is time to select a General Contractor through the time-honored bidding process. Your best interests must be guarded continuously throughout this process, and careful attention must be paid to assure the right contractors with the right competencies are selected to bid. We will assist you in the solicitation, development, negotiation and award of contracts to include Facilities Planning, Functional Programming, Geo-Technical Investigation and Materials Testing Services, Interior Design, Equipment Planning, Pre-Construction Services, General Contracting Services, Specialty Consultants, and others pertinent to the specific method of project delivery. RDS will review the submitted bids, make our best recommendation for contract awards, and handle re-negotiation and application of value engineering principles. RDS will, in essence, act as your “right-hand man,” guarding your interests every step of the way.
